Acci comes from Lauren Acciarito's family name, and is a love letter to heritage, memory, ritual and, most importantly, dressing with intention.

Lauren grew up in an Italian-Australian family on a vegetable farm, with her Nanna and late Nonno as her neighbours, in a culture that expressed itself through gesture, food and the way people dressed. Fashion entered her life before she knew the word for it. It showed up as instinct, a way of noticing objects with quiet meaning and a curiosity about how they could be curated. Her late father built his life around markets, which opened her world to unexpected finds, while her mother shaped her understanding of dressing up as something intentional and fun.

Over time, through travel and an attentiveness to culture in all its forms, her design practice became a way of translating lived impressions into garments, accessories and the worlds they create. Dressing was where it all came together. In 2026, after more than a decade designing for established fashion brands across London and Australia, she founded Acci.

Acci is where heritage and the contemporary meet. The wardrobe draws from old-world glamour and the bravado of the ‘80s, where fabric is draped, collapsed and ruched into silhouettes that feel both archival and now. Bold Australian merino knitwear with vintage logos sits alongside gently falling lace, while waxed cotton juxtaposes rich velvet and jacquards. The focus is on natural fibres and thoughtful craftsmanship, in collaboration with specialist suppliers Lauren has worked with throughout her career. Acci is for women who dress like it means something.
