Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Acci, a brand of Lauren Acci Studios Pty Ltd (ABN 51 690 495 937) (“Acci”, “we”, “us”, “our”), collects, holds, uses, discloses and protects your personal information. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and this policy is written to that full standard.
By using our website at acciacci.com.au, subscribing to our updates, creating an account or purchasing from us, you agree to the collection and use of your personal information as described in this policy.
1. The personal information we collect
· Identity and contact details - name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery addresses.
· Transaction information - items purchased, order value, order history, and returns or exchanges. We do not store full payment card numbers; card payments are processed by our payment providers (section 7).

· Technical and usage data - interactions with our site and emails, collected via cookies and similar technologies (section 5).
· Marketing and social data - where you engage with us on social platforms.
We do not generally collect sensitive information (as defined in the Privacy Act). If we ever need to, we will ask for your consent first.
2. How we collect personal information
We collect personal information directly from you when you place an order, create an account, subscribe to our newsletter, contact our team, or take part in an event, competition or gifting activity. We also collect information automatically through cookies and analytics when you use our website, and occasionally from third parties such as our technology providers, payment processors, delivery partners and social media platforms, where you have permitted them to share it.
3. Why we collect, hold, use and disclose your information
· to process and fulfil your orders, including payment, delivery, returns, refunds and exchanges;
· to create and manage your account and provide customer support;
· to communicate with you about your orders and enquiries;
· with your consent or where otherwise permitted, to send you marketing about new drops, events and offers;
· to operate, analyse, improve and secure our website and business;
· to run our community programs;
· to comply with our legal obligations, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
4. Direct marketing
Where permitted, we may send you marketing by email or SMS and through digital advertising, in accordance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). You can opt out at any time using the one-step unsubscribe link in any email, replying STOP to an SMS, or contacting us at hello@acciacci.com.au. We action opt-outs promptly. We never sell your personal information.
5. Cookies and tracking technologies
Our website uses cookies, pixels and similar technologies (including from Shopify, Meta, Google and Klaviyo) to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, measure site performance, and deliver and measure advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the site works. Where required, we present a cookie/consent notice.
6. Automated decision-making and artificial intelligence
We use certain automated tools that process personal information to make our marketing and website experience more relevant:
· Marketing personalisation and segmentation - our email/SMS platform uses your purchase and engagement history to group audiences, predict interests, and decide which communications and offers you receive.
· Advertising optimisation - advertising platforms use data about your interactions to decide which of our ads to show you.
· Fraud and risk screening - our payment and platform providers may use automated checks to help detect fraudulent or high-risk transactions.
These tools tailor marketing and protect our store; they do not make legally significant decisions about you without human involvement. Where an automated decision would significantly affect you, you can ask us for information about it and request human review by contacting hello@acciacci.com.au. This section is published proactively ahead of the automated-decision transparency requirements commencing 10 December 2026.
